The Greatest IPhone Books For Creating Applications

October 17, 2010 By: lilybird Category: iPhone/iPod

So now that you have bought an iPhone, don’t you want to know how to make it part of your new business? We all love the ability to download apps for our iPhone, but it can get costly if you don’t download the free apps. What if you could go into business in your extra time, by creating iPhone apps and selling them to make some extra scratch on the side? In this blog, I have described two iPhone books that will give you the training you need to engineer your own apps, whether you are a beginner, or advanced.

The first iPhone book that I believe to be useful is from the “For Dummies” publisher and it is called ‘iPhone Application Development All-In-One for Dummies’ written by Neil Goldstein and Tony Bove. This is a great iPhone book for people who are amateurs or have extensive experience at application development for the iPhone. For this reason, it can be a good tool to not only build a foundation of iPhone application knowledge from the beginner level, it can also continue to be used as you get in to the more advanced aspects of software development. This book teaches the reader how to create games and graphics and also teaches you how to place your creations on to the App Store so you can turn your ingenuity into a money making machine. ‘iPhone Application Development All-In-One for Dummies’ is also a great investment because it teaches you how to create apps for the iPad as well as the iPhone.

The next iPhone book that I have found useful for iPhone application development is called ‘Sam’s Teach Yourself iPhone Application Development in 24 Hours’. The great thing about this book is that it is broken down into 24 one hour lessons that will start from the beginning steps of iPhone app development and take you to placing your apps in the app store. ‘Sam’s Teach Yourself iPhone Application Development in 24 Hours’ will show you how to invent any kind of app, including games, and give you all the resources you need to finish your creations. ‘Sam’s Teach Yourself iPhone Application Development in 24 Hours’ will instruct you how to read and write data, use widgets, learn Objective-C and the MVC paradigm, optimize, distribute to the App store, and much more. There are also quizzes you can take and exercises you can participate in to really build your skills.

These are just two of the iPhone books that you can purchase to grow your skills in iPhone and iPad software development. There are plenty of other iPhone books out there that you can choose from that focus on more specialized areas according to what you are interested in. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, whether you are interested in creating games or want to create an app that focus’ on content, there are many iPhone books to choose from. I recommend visiting www.hotphoneaccessories.com when looking for iPhone books as they have literally hundreds of iPhone books to choose from.
